Andrew Petillo, Class of 2018

Rasesh Patel started on the DIRECTV side of our business and has been a key leader with their integration with AT&T’s over the last three years. Within his current group, their primary focus is changing the way customers interact with us and improving our ability to compete within the ever-evolving “Amazon economy.”  They’ve made great strides in shortening new customer wait times from 50 minutes to just three, and are innovating in mobilizing the retail experience (a la Starbucks) so that we’re present in even more places that are customers with purchase intent are.  They’re also putting significant thought into creative ways that we can increasingly leverage our new WarnerMedia assets to build unique engagement opportunities within the digital shopping and in-store environments.   Rasesh encouraged us to “ask tough questions about what our processes could be” and “give everyone other than yourself credit” when working as part of a team.  During our careers it is important to “have confidence that you can be successful in any environment,” through surrounding yourself with others that fill your personal skill gaps and learning by doing.
